SAN FRANCISCO, December 11, 2020: Since our founding in 2015, TechCongress has sent 39 fellows to Congress and made tremendous strides in bridging the tech and policy communities. Our fellows have made a big impact on tech policy, from drafting portions of Coronavirus response bills to investigating the data privacy and security issues in the headlines.

And now's your chance to be a part of the action - applications for the 2021 Congressional Innovation Scholars Program are now open!

The Congressional Innovation Scholars program is our early-career pipeline to Capitol Hill for technologists who are passionate about bringing their technical expertise to Congress to help shape current and future tech policy.

The fellowship will run from mid-June 2021 to mid-April 2022, and fellows receive a $60,000 annual-equivalent stipend ($5000 / month) and other benefits.

Over the next few months, we'll be holding informational events where you can ask us questions, meet the fellows, and learn more about the Scholars Program. Applications will close at 11:59 pm ET on Friday, February 5, 2021.
