ECBC and MSRDC Leadership held a working group meeting in Aberdeen, MD this week to discuss several critical items to ensure that Minority Serving Institutions are fully included in Army Research Laboratory priorities.  "Army's most senior leadership is looking at ways to tap into the STEM talent pool at MSIs and we are making investments to ensure this really happens," said Dr. Corriveau, Director of ECBC.

The first funded research topics were recently released in the areas of Predictive Toxicology.  All Consortium members who have an interest may submit their white papers during the open period. Dr. Robert Kristovich, Branch Chief for Molecular Toxicology and technical monitor for the research topic said he looks forward to the responses and is available to collaborate with interested institutions.

"We intend to make these for Consortium members happen in a big way," said Michael Hester, President & CEO of the Consortium.
