Mr. Lamont Hames, MSRDC, Mr. Chevalier Cleaves, Air Force, Mr. Adam Sieple and Mr. Eric Stevens, ECBC.

ECBC representatives met with newly appointed U.S. Air Force Director of Diversity & Inclusion's Mr. Chevalier Cleaves to share information about the MSRDC.

Mr. Cleaves is responsible for ensuring that the U.S. Air Force has a wide base to recruit talent from the next generation workforce.  We are interested in research and development of STEM disciplines that would be of particular interest at Air Force Research Laboratory.

“Before returning to the U.S. Air Force, I visited N.C. A&T State University in Greensboro, NC, when I was in industry and was very impressed with their nanotechnology program which is one of the best in the nation” said Mr. Cleaves.  “I would like to see that the U.S. Air Force takes full advantage of opportunities to work with MSI's and for MSI's to take advantage of an abundance of opportunities within the Air Force” he added.

Mr. Cleaves indicated that he looked forward to MSRDC being an advisor and partner with the U.S. Air Force Office of Diversity & Inclusion to achieve mutually beneficial goals.
