NOTE: This opportunity is from an external funding partner. This is not an MSRDC scholarship opportunity.
Do you know anyone that would make a good candidate for the 2021 Congressional Innovation Scholars Program? Nominate them today!

As part of our nomination process, we're proud to be the first organization in politics or in Washington to offer a diversity referral award.

If you nominate a woman or non-binary person, underrepresented person of color, person with a disability, or veteran for the Congressional Innovation Scholars Program, and they join the program, we’re going to award you $500.

We launched the referral award in 2018, following the recommendations of the Kapor Center, which found that diversity referral awards were an effective intervention that improved recruitment and retention of underrepresented tech talent.

I'm proud to report that since last year we've awarded $4500 to ten individuals that referred us to nine fellows! This is one part of how we're attempting to live our values, and build an inclusive organization from the ground-up. You can read more about our efforts on our website.
